This incredibly soft knit is 16 micron - an extremely fine gauge - woven in Japan from pure Australian merino wool. It comes in a formal black colourway and has a luxe silky texture and a subtle sheen, as well as a generously wide width. Great as a layering piece or on its own, this jersey drapes well with an opaque, tactile ribbed weave. It's superbly soft and delicate to touch as it is against the body.
Merino wool is suitable year-round as its fibres work to regulate body temperature and whisk moisture away from the skin, making it cool in Summer and warm in Winter.
